10 days after.... Still happy with the springs and no rubbing so far. One thing I noticed is the significant improvement of straight line stability in strong winds. This is achieved by the TRD springs combined with the 205/50/16 tires. Major difference with this combination.

I noticed that too after lowering springs. Doesn't jump around as much with hydroplanning also!

I have TRD springs for almost a year now, with TRD shocks, cut bump stops in front in half. Wheels Konig Feathers 15x6.5. Tires are 185/60R15 Continental ProContact with EcoPlus Technology. I'm at 30.5 psi in fronts and 31.5 psi in rears. I like this set up cause I can go over speed bumps and I have enough cushion where, when I go over rough pavement my dash doesn't rattle. Handling is good I can still drive like I am in my upgraded WRX, yet have great gas mileage, and taller tire means I can have more people in car and still clear speed bumps which I am surrounded by.

205/55R15 is not going to make your car lower than your stock 185/60R15. just FYI..

ok ...bumpstops are just that they are there to stop ur strut from bottoming out saving them from damage ...by having them longer will stop rubbing but all that ur doing is riding on them as for bounce that is do to worn out struts/shocks a proper set up will have no bounce and bumpstops will only come in to play if u hit something , like a pothole in the road.

My shocks are fine... it only rubs when i go on deeps on highway.. but theres some on my way to work and i hate that.. i cut like 3/4 of bumstop... what im gonna do is put 1/4 more so its like i just cut half.
Its not like im bouncing everywhere... But when road gets bad i rub and hate that... Either fix that or work on fenders... I do all the stuff on the bodyshop i work at... so me very lucky i have plenty of tools... i also trimmed my front springs just a bit so it lowers it a bit more in front.. thats why it rubs even more

think what u need is stiffer springs one can only go so low with out going to coilover setup ...or body work.

no bump stop cutting recommended for TRD springs. I have FatCat bump stops installed and while some rubbing occurs no bottoming has been experienced in 5 years now. TRD dampers surely help prevent that much motion.
