DIY AC system *important*
For those who buys this kind of gauge kit and whats to DIY
checking or DIY top off refrigerant ... BE CAREFUL !!! Yaris has an small AC system, and this gauge kit came with 1.5 meter pipeline each, and 2 pipeline both blue and red is 3 meters. So ... the refrigerant needs to fill up both blue & red pipeline to reach the gauge meters... right? ... and also you wants to squize the air out ... *** this will cost you around 1/5 to 1/4 system's refrigerant *** If you are at very low refrigerant, after the checkings surely you will run under low limit refrigerant level ... Without the checkings, you're just at safe low refrigerant level. After the checkings you runs under low safe limits, if you dosn't top off .. then the problem will come up shortly... After this , I buy the 0.9meter pipeline, but still will cost you around 1/5 of the systems refrigerant inside ... Just to share you guys the info .... |
