Do yaris sedan 2009 has rear breaks as well ?

This must be silly but i really dont know if my car has breaks at the rear as well.

I replaced 2 front breaks due to sqweaking noise but
It is still making noise. Wondering there are more breaks ?

Drum brakes are an older technology than disc brakes. They are cheaper for the manufacturer, and often weight less than disc brakes.

They tend to "fade" with repeated hard braking. However, the front brakes account for 70 percent or more of total braking power. On a small light car like the Yaris, there would be no advantage to fitting rear disc brakes.

The rear Drum brakes on the Yaris are fitted with a "self adjusting" mechanism which operates when the brakes are applied firmly while reversing. These are also operated by the parking brake.
