Hot engine bay
I think i have a leak by my header. The bay is kinda hotter than usual and my car doesnt pull hard anymore. I tried to listen for a leak sound but there are just too many noises for me to tell. i tighten the bolts but to no avail. Idk.... i neeed to dyno this thing once and for all...

check for the exhaust leak when the car is cold and under load that is when it will make a more noticeble sound. you can also try thermal wrap for you exhaust manifold, that ill help wit the temp issue in the engine bay

as far as heat in the engine bay, that happens with the introduction of headers or turbos on stock econoboxes...the weapons in your arsenal are dozens of differant ceramic and other types of temp coatings, and thermal wrap.
thermal wrap looks horrid, but you can build a aluminum heat shield to cover the nasty look and also keep even more heat from working its way higher into the engine bay. also, try running a true cold air intake if you arent already, and remove any restrictive grilles from the vehicle. I already did those mods even tho I don't have a header or turbo, i just want colder air :)

i feel like i lost some power gonna go to the mech after work and have them do a pressure test. I have the AFE intake i might need one that goes all the way down by the wheels cause even the intake felt a little hot at one point. That little metal shield is not holding up lol... But i love the sound of it. Any recommendations for a CAI? I am getting boarded with my car nothing else to do but FI...Well i do need some wheels And i need a catbak exhaust i dont kno where i can find one for my sedan:(

With a header leak, you'll gain top end power.

you'll also throw off your o2 sensor, causing fueling issues, causing loss of power..
