Bad breath

A week or so after I did the inspection trip and had the dealership change the oil I've noticed that my car gets "bad breath" after I climb a hill.

They used Castrol Syntec. I've been using Valvolline Synpower and wonder if the motor was "accustomed" to it and when it received the different oil formulation the oil control may have changed?

Has anyone seen this kind of issue in their Yarii?

More like burning rubber or oil from outside. Only notice it after reaching the top of a hill.

THinking of going back to Synpower and seeing if it goes away. Otherwise check for some stupid crap that they did at the dealership.

Old ,minds think alike. That was my first thought. I seem to remember a free "update" for that one.
