2014 Yaris CE No tachometer

Hello,

I will be getting my new to me 5 speed 2014 Yaris CE next week and I can't wait. Sadly, I was really disappointed it had no tachometer.

I found this eBay listing for a yaris cluster with the tachometer and was wondering if it will be plug and play fitment since the connectors in the bag look identical. From my research, the mileage will need to be reprogrammed by a dealer, is this correct?

I'm not sure about Euro market clusters but I tried a Vitz G's cluster in my car from Japan and it didn't play nice with some of my car's features. It worked fine but it disabled cruise control, some of the illumination lighting, tripped the CEL for a speed sensor code(weird, might have to do with the JDM auto start/stop),etc.

I have a 2014 Yaris LE cluster with a tach I'm not doing anything with if you're interested, its got about 109000km on it. I came across a 2014 SE cluster in a wrecked car and had the mileage changed via a local speedo shop and put it in my car so I can have the nice white face gauges with accurate mileage.

Thanks, I'm just going to keep an eye out locally for a cheap used tachometer so at least its a Canadian version, hopefully, I won't have to modify it too much.

Try car-part.com

Anything 2012-2016 Yaris hatch(NCP131) will work. Not sure about how compatible the 2017-2019s are since they have more idiot lights in the cluster for Toyota Safety Sense.

Just found a cluster from a 2015 SE and it works great. The lens shape was different so I had to swap the lens from my cluster but everything is plug and play with the mileage being the only thing needing adjustment.

Does the back lighting still glow red on the 15+ SE Cluster? The 12-14 SE does and it looks really cool.

Sorry, it was from a 2014 SE not 2015. Same color but with a tachometer, much better now
