Factory speaker wiring behind door skin?
Hi,
Really quick question. I replaced the stock woofers in the doors for some aftermarket units. As you'll know, aftermarket speakers always have the terminals to the rear, so I ran the factory wiring behind the door skin and connected to the rear of the speakers. But now I'm wondering, is that ok to do? Or should I drill a hole in the speaker bracket and run the wiring on the inner door skin like the stock set up? Be good to get some opinions! Thanks |

I redid it and ran the wiring on the inner door skin. I'm sure it would've been fine either way but for the sake of 20 mins thought I'd do what most people do.
