Air Baffle for Radiator installation... tips?

Yaris 2014 LE 2-door Liftback here.

I need to install an Air Baffle for the Radiator. Part number: 88891-52100

Schematic available in the third illustration here: https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.c...fle-8889152100

On YarisWorld forums, this part has also been described as a "filler panel cover for the radiator".

I have the part (pics below).

Two questions:
  1. I have been unable to find a video or instructions on how to install it. If you have any tips for me, please share.
  2. This is apparently a Right-Hand Side panel. Any idea if there's also a Left-Hand Side panel that should be there on the other side? Also, when we say Right-Hand Side, do we typically mean front-passenger-side or driver-side?

Thanks in advance.

im not sure on the 14 but since it looks like the same part from an 07, you need to pull the bumper cover, at that point youll know if you need to pull the radiator support or not....i know i atleast mentioned it and took pics in my AC retrofit

Interesting. Thanks.

Do you know how essential it is to have the Air Baffle?

I bought a salvage Yaris 2014 LE 2-Door Hatchback that had been in a minor collision, and the destroyed Air Baffle was hanging off front underside of the car.

Have been running the car, and so far it's doing fine.

What's the purpose of an Air Baffle, do you know? From the name it seems like it's to reduce the noise of the car? My car is pretty quiet as is.

Thanks in advance.

its there for a reason, if i remember it directs air to the radiator more effectively, not by much, but enough
