Please offer your opinions on these potential wheels
Well, I'm in the process of selecting some wheels for the sedan (tough job).
I really like Discount Tire Direct (.com) - great selection, FREE shipping, rebates, ect. Here are two that I really like (in two different finishes each). My car is Flint Mica which means the gunmetal matches the paint perfectly which I'm leaning towards. But I will certainly consider the silver finishes. Both happen to be by Drag and are $110/ea for 17's. Vote! 1,2,3, or 4? Thanks for the input! |

out of the four....number 3.
gunmetal looks great on anything....it's the new chrome, and it's 20% lighter. 'tripple dipped' chrome wheels adds weight due to copper, nickel and then chrome dipping. my friends 17" wheels weigh more than 6lbs each over my painted wheels on our camaro's. i'd rather have painted any day...too much polishing and finishing on chrome... any way, silver looks good too, but you'll have to finish everything in silver....door handles, knobs, accessories and whatever else you want in silver. |

I'd also like to note that I don't really want to go higher than about $110 a wheel. So please don't suggest $250 rims! Thanks.

Not necessarily. Honestly, I don't know much about rims as far as quality ratings, and such. Really, I shop for style, price, and of course fitment.
I do want to know specifics of what you are suggesting though. Thanks. |

I think we just have a very different taste in wheels. I'm drooling over the ones I posted, while gold wheels, for example, make me puke. |

Sorry, my life doesn't revolve around wheels. And yet you say wheels are wheels. And the wheels you linked me to are tiny 15's. I would just stay with my stock steelies if I were staying that small. Plus, I don't care for the design. I do appreciate suggestions but I wasn't looking to be talked out of the wheels I posted. Just wanted to see which one people liked the best. One thing about wheels, no one can agree. |

I'm getting 17's (minimally 16's if I go for slightly better practicality). I know you're all about width, but I don't care about width. I'm more concerned with diameter. Could you suggest quality 17" wheels under $110 (and I didn't see any MB's I like)? Design is my #1 priority. I'd like to remain friendly. |

sorry, very long day, i don't recommend 17's on a poor underpowered yaris but... i understand your view. i've enjoyed 17's on my econobox in the past too.
btw goodwinracing.com does offer some larger wheels too. :) and if you want the wheel to look good on your car you should be worried about width AND diameter. the width will give the car a little charisma

One MB mesh wheel they have that I really like is this one but is available in 16", but not 17" for some reason. If I go 16", this is a strong possibility too. I also like that it doesn't have the busy looking rivets.
It's only $90 too. Let me know guys if you'd go with this one over the other 4. Thanks. |
