The only modification you will need to make is if your steering column doesn't have a hole for the stalk then you will need to make a hole for it. Other than that is just a plug and play unit.

Just got back from South Carolina to my home in northern VA and the drive without cruise control about killed me! I saw in other posts a detailed set of directions that looked like way more than I was willing to take on pulling the steering wheel, are bag etc. and I believe involved other things as well. Is it really just plug and play if there is a place for the stalk on the column? Any chance someone out there in northern VA knows of a shop I can trust for some help on this? The Manassas Toyota dealer said it was not doable on my 2010 Yaris which seemed very hard to believe!

Here are pictures step by step instruction on how to install the unit

It is just a plug and play type of installation other than making a hole in the steering column if it doesn't have one.

Here is my complete DIY for installing Cruise Control on a 2006 or newer Yaris. The pictures above are not of a Yaris, so it is a bit different. Also, the stalk as shown above is not completely plug and play on a Yaris, since the Yaris routes the horn through the 4 pin connector. Also, on 2006-2008 Yaris the stalk will not work without adding the additional wiring from the ECM to the steering column. And, the ones that I sell for $40 are modified to include the horn wiring, making installation easier.
