BTW where I live in Westmont NJ I park on the street (no driveway) and have NEVER locked any of the cars I have owned for 20 years and that includes a Mercedes Benz! (all right all right it was a four cylinder diesel with MT!)

There is nothing in the car anyone would want and I generally own cars few would covet.

Oops I did lock the Vette convertible!

I had a friend who rigged up a 12 gauge shotgun shell to go off if anyone so much as touched his bicycle. He did this to 1) scare off the thief and 2) alert him to the fact someone was tampering with is bike NOT to injure anyone!

Good thing that is a federal crime. See BATF rules.
I believe it's a 5 year felony plus what ever local laws apply.

try disconnecting the injectors by removing the harness but leaving the harness like its connected, or take your spark plug wires with you lol

Hey guys, I'm about to pick up my newly purchased 2010 Vitz and I'm worried about security until I install my ignition/fuel pump kill switches.

Which relay can I remove? I haven't seen the fuse box yet but I'm guessing there's a fuel pump relay :?

Best protection would be GPS tracking device, with a relay activation option on the fuel pump.
If they really want to steal your car, they will anyway, so why generating a lot of damage to your beloved car? And it's also the only way to protect the car if they tow it.
