Should crossmember be dropped to replace sway bar bush?
here i mean yaris 2006 model
recently i found that it squeaks loud when go over speed hump so i wish to replace both pieces but i see the space is very compact to let the ratchet to access the sway bar cover bolts |

I never done one on a yaris, I have on other cars that way. Its your choice if you want an alignment or not.

I'd recommend it to avoid stripped bolt heads. Alternatively you can try without removing the subframe.first and if it doesnt work, then go and lower it.

today i remove front tire and have better view on sway bar bush bracket bolts. i conclude that to remove the bolts you have to drop the crossmember.
