Test drove new Mitsu Lancer
The new lancer is pretty fun to drive. Only downside is that it only boasts 142whp due to the CA emissions restrictions (other states might be different but I'm not sure.) What's sad is that the engine is so weak compared to many of the new releases that other companies are coming out with. The base model with 5-speed manual transmission was on promotion sale for 12k haha. That thing is pretty good in the low rpm range but after 4000rpm is gets a little weak so shifting goes fast.
Release of Evo X is 2008 and a turbo and AWD version of the Lancer (NOT EVO...just a regular lancer with the turbo and AWD option) will be released sometime later this year i believe. Just wanted to put my two cents in about this new Mitsubishi

Thats nice, I got to test drive 2 BMWs at a dealership promoting every mile you drive they donate a dollar to breast cancer.
I really like the evos, my favorite will still always be the evo III! |

Cool. Personally I don't realy like how they changed up the look of the Lancer and the Evo is my favorite car (Evo 7 and 8) but it's all good I guess.

Evo VI TME ranks as the best looking IMO. Previous designs looks too dated, the newer styles look too sleek, the VI was the most mean and badass one.
Well that's what I think anyway

I'm just glad the Lancer is finally starting to look like a sporty car instead of a grannymobile with spoilers.

lol...after a few years of being a nurse, helping my GF pay off her loans, and getting a place with her, then i'll buy a "practical" sports car. hopefully the EVO will look better and still be around by then. lol...

true, true, but the US only started getting the EVO with the VIII, right? so that leaves out the EVO's that i really like.

nope. they had the Evo VII first hehe =P as for the evo 5 and 6 we have the old versions of the Mirage to thank for that in the States but it's only the body for the 5 and 6
