Question Boost pressure values on Yaris 1.4L D4D 90

Hi everybody,
I have a 2009 Yaris with the 1NDTV turbo diesel engine (1.4L D4D 90hp).
I would like to have some information about boost pressure standard values.
A boost pressure vs rpm curve would be great, but even an info about the standard maximum boost pressure would be helpful.

P.S : the engine has a Variable Geometry Turbocharger, so no wastegate.

Thanks for your help

Not sure anyone knows. PM CTScott, he might have an idea, or maybe an idea where you could acquire that info.

I have never seen a chart, but according to the service manual the max boost at 5100-5250 RPM should be 2.2 to 6.5 psi.

Thumbs up

Thanks CTScott
So that is a maximum boost up to 6.5 PSI above atmospheric pressure I suppose.
I have the service manual for the petrol Yaris 2. Where can I found/download the diesel service manual?

I also enjoy a diese 90 bhp. I am planning some mods to achieve better cooling and performance but I only have the petrol manual. Can you send me the diesel one, please?

1NDTV from 2009 boost peak 0.85bar and costant boost 0.7bar, to increase the boost you have to remap the ECU.
I remapped the Ecu and now I have boost peak 1.1bar and costant boost 0.9bar for 110hp ;)

I have to kind of agree with Giupo, i can't remember stock boost on my 06 D4D.

But after i mounted a power box on the common rail sensor boost where about 0,9-1,1 bar.
For some time I had a power box on the MAP sensor, boost where 1,4-1,5 bar (peak boost 2 bar++) stock sensor is "blind" over 2 bar. Stock ECU reduces diesel pressure if boost is 1,5 bar.

I think stock turbo is good for about 140-150 hp max. I've mounted a bigger VNT turbo, bigger ic, portet top and bigger trottle valve, and aiming for 180 hp.
