Silicone radiator hose

Has anyone tried the 100% silicone radiator hoses found on e-bay?

Not on the yaris but , ran some of those Obx radiator hoses on my old eclipse turbo and they worked great . I don't really see any reason to "upgrade" the raditor hoses unless you have 100k+ miles and were gonna replace the hoses anyways . Mabey if you're building your yaris for some serious track laps where the temps would be high, these would be insurance against busting your rad hose

it's a show mod. but if the silicon hoses are cheaper from ebay than buying toyota rubber ones, maybe that's the route you'll want to go. please buy black ones.. lol

i was told that silicon hoses were just for looks and the stock toyota rubber hoses were by far better

I melted a few silicon vac hoses on my old MR2 durring a few SCCA events

went back to the stock rubber and never had another issue
