Does anyone know REAL vehicle weights of :Yaris hatckback, Sedan, Scion XA, Echo,Vitz

hi! well, i was looking over the other cars with the 1NZFE and was hoping to see how they stack up to eachother as far as "power to weight ratio". I'm guessing they all put out 106 hp (or is the echo "less advanced"), so weight (and a bit of gearing) should be the only major factor in acceleration. I was told the Scion Xa's weigh in 2340 lbs ..and they come standard with pw,pl, pm. That's not very heavy for 2 extra doors (compared to yaris liftback).

Anyway, if you got a good website for vehicle weights or are just plain enlightened..help a brother out.

You can actually instruct the site to show you the Scion xA and other cars. However, the Vitz is not available in North America and I doubt if this site can help you.

thanks. most sites show the Yaris liftback and sedan as both 2293 pounds which is probably true of liftback but...
the echo is a little uder 2100 pounds, and the scion xA registers in about 2340 pounds (manual transmission weights chosen).

to really get the answers, it pretty much requires a trip to a weigh station. Some being accurate to within 10 pounds, some + or - 50 .

I will take mine by the local weigh station with stock wheels, then subtract for my weight reduction through removing rearseat, light wheels/tires. etc.
