Installing Speedhut tach, need help!
I attempted to install a speedhut Revolution tach in my '09 HB.
However, I'm not quite shure if this tach can get an RPM signal from the OBD port. I conected the RPM lead i to blue/green wire but there is no aparent RPM signal to the tach. Everthing else seems to be working properly including setting the pulses per RPM. Does this tach need to be connected directly to a coill pack, yelow primary wire as per the speedhut instuctions? if so where is the best place to go through the fire wall. EDIT: Problem solved via this thread: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...=wire+firewall It appears that the OBD port tach signal wire is not blue/green on the '09s but light brown. The tach is now working properly. Last edited by RedRide; 07-05-2009 at 04:18 PM. |
