Question Help finding part number

Hello
The clear white plastic part that hold the rubber gromet of the hatch is loose, the water can leak inside the headliner.
I searched the catalog of parts but without luck, the part itself donīt have any marking that indicate a Toyota code XXXX-XXXX.

Silicone sealant and 3M tape cannot hold in place, Japanese Yaris 2013, sorry for the bad english

Thanks for any help

That white part is considered part of the complete hatch wiring harness. You can't purchase it separately from Toyota.

You can make something out of hose sealer and silicon from Lowe's or Home Depot.

The white plastic piece snaps into a large hole in the hatch opening and is designed to squeeze the molded lip on the black rubber boot to make a waterproof seal. When the hatch is open the black boot has a significant amount of tension on it as well.

You would have a difficult time making something to replace it and particularly finding a sealing compound that will stick to the painted metal and the rubber and form a completely waterproof seal (particularly for the O.P., who is in Panama, where it is hot and wet).

Yikes, yeah, I don't think I completely understood how it operated.....so in hindsight....the better idea is definitely to go buy the harness (and part) from the dealer or online.

Good luck.

Thanks for all the responses

I will evaluate all the options available:
1. Buy the whole harness
2. Search in the junkyard, some new yaris have crashed
3.Another post have a lead for possibles replacements, partial Part Name Code (82819-XXXXX) that will investigate more.

The best advice I can give is: Be careful when installing any reverse camera

Squeezing the tabs from below is the only way to remove it without deforming it.

Partially, or get your hand up between it and the roof.

Update: I take the broken part to a 3D printing shop, they scanned and printed in black ABS, cost $30 dollars.
