Yaris XP10, 2SZ, 1.3 - oil pan torque tightening

Good evening (or day, it depends on ) to all Yari-crew members,

Little "introductionary" off-topic: my name is Tstetso and we(family), have October 2004 Yaris, XP10, 5 doors, MT, 1.3 VVT-i since almost yeah and a half - our "ladybug" :). Excluding the cabin and cargo volume, it's the perfect car - comfy, pretty agile, economical, amazingly reliable ... That's our short story ...

Now, back to the "business". After last oil change, little oil leak has been noticed - from the drain plug. Tried to tighten it with torque wrench, initially with half of the torques specified, but it seems as twisted thread. So far, we have topup around 400 ml. for about 5k ( km. ) and on the next oil change will have to replace the oil pan. As I will not trust repair shop again - there are lots of shops, but this time I'll give it a try for DIY ( as the "twisting" was done by previous mechanic ). So far, I've failed to find torque wrench specs for oil sump bolts. Anyone here has an idea what those are ?

Thank you for your time reading this and have a wonderful day or evening ;) ...

Best regrds,
Tsetso ...

Good day all ;),

Little update here. We haven't changed the sump yet, as the leak costs around 0.5-0.8L per 10k km. The other downside offcourse is, the "oily" engine "bottom".

Have a great weekend
