New Girlie And Her New 09 5door LB! (56k, no)

Well I picked her up 3-12-09 at a good price, and she is what I liked. Here she is in all her cute stock form.

And The first Mod, my Cold Air Intake

Then Onto the Fiberglass Box for my Kenwood 12" Sub
Gotta Protect the new baby, lots of tape and plastic.

Templets made, and getting ready to cut.

And cutting!

Mmmm, fiberglass fun.

Gotta Make sure its all sealed.

And Sub is in, amps are mounted, and yes there is going to be a false floor with a door for the sub, just have to get a router to smooth the edges a bit.

Also have some kicker mids and crossovers in the front doors, with Power Acoustic Nb-2 tweeters in the empty panel above the switchs on the door.

And tonights Project, I got a little closer to the earth.

And for fun, the car I got rid of for my Yaris.

Comments are welcome. Thanx

Just quickly... is your sub removable (to get to the spare tyre???)

Well, i liked the way they looked on the car, and far better then the 16" stock wheels. I wont even talk about some of the wheel choices on this forum. At least the 20" wheels on a mustang dont look like the 20" wheels on a yaris.... :-\ thanx

And this is my fiances car. which is also a TEXAS car.

I personally think 20"s on the new body style mustang look amazing.

I'm not a fan of chrome (on anything other than a box chevy, but that's a WHOLE 'nother topic lol) so that would be my only "gripe" but the wheels you had on the mustang really complimented it well.

I like seeing girls handle their own and know what they are doing with their cars. Way to represent!! w00t w00t! *high fives*

I had a 95 Mustang GT (the 4.6) convertible before I got the Yaris.... I miss her that was the first (and last) American made car I ever had ... and she was wonderful and sounded mean (lots of aftermarket upgrades to make that happen, of course)

Your Yaris is coming along beautifully, I love it. Keep posting progress pics!

I am lost when it comes to audio stuff ... you give me a Haynes manual and some tools I'll figure anything out if I have the time/space to do it - but you ask me to connect a stereo and I couldn't do that if my life depended on it.

It is SO nice to see a girl who isn't afraid to use tools. Seriously!
Now, if we can just get you away from the Dark Side of using chopped strand mat, and into the Light of decently-engineered fabrics.....

thank you for all of the wonderful comments, I'm so excited to finally have some things done to her! Next is to find some nice wheels, which so far has been an interesting search, but I know I will find some ones I like soon. Oh and tint! I fell so exposed right now, I want my cave feeling back so I don't feel like everybody can see me

and for anyone who cares anout the mustang, I traded her in b/c I wanted something better on the gas and something with four doors. So I was very happy to see that the yaris started making the four door model!! It was love at first test drive

So thanks for all of the comments and I am happy to represent for all of the girls out there
