Back Up Camera - 2013 Yaris (not OEM)
I put one of those $30 after market cameras on my pickup, and wanted to add one on the Yaris as well. The one on my pickup is the over-the-rear-view-mirror variety. I like this but am willing to try and make anything work. Who has successfully added a back up cam? Mounting the cam on the tag seems painful on the hatchback.

2013 is series 3, correct?
There is a cutout above and slightly to the side of the rear licence plate in the hatch where the dactory camera fits. You can find after market cameras that fit this location. The hard part is running the wiring back through the hatch and into the roof lining. I originally fitted a rear view mirror screen, but found it vibrated too much for my liking during normal driving. I eventually fitted a (cheap chinese) replacement touch screen radio that can display the camera.
