Selling my Yaris... Leaving the forums... :(

Hey all, I want to thank you for all your kind words and help. I have never seen a more supportive community of car lovers than Yaris owners. I was especially privileged to meet some local board members here in the S.F. Bay Area and they have been an amazing bunch. Unfortunately, the loan on my Yaris has been great for building my credit, but I now that I am taking care of my parents and money is VERY tight, I need to reduce my money expenses any place I can. A friend of mine is selling me is RAV4 and I am going to be selling my Yaris. I will be posting it in the for sale section as soon as I get some nice pics of it taken this weekend. I also need to get its smog cert and get the airbag warning light taken care of.

I will also have some other things for sale that I will post in the general FS section.

Anyway I wanted to thank you all again for being great people!

- Jason

Too bad you can't find a way to keep the Yaris. In the long run it will pay for itself.

On the bright side the Rav 4 is the best small SUV around and CR's top pick in it's class four out of the last five years.

Hey all thanks for the reply's. I only have a second to write this so I have to keep it short. I think I am going to keep the Yaris. Its just not a good move to sell it in the long run I think. Also as much as I would love to get a rear wheel sports/sporty car like the 350Z or FR-S after it comes out, the thought of not having my little egg any more just really hurts. She has been such a good little car to me. I am just going to get it refinanced and pay it off as quickly as I can to get out of my crappy loan. So I am gonna stay!

Oh and WTF there really is a rav4world.com!? Awesome!

Thanks. So far my existing bank has offered me the best refi since I have been with them for so long and have a perfect payment history after all these years. But I am going to shop around a little more.

Just because you selling the yaris doesn't mean you have to leave the forums.

I'm selling mine and I don't plan on going anywhere...

You'll probably find everything you need on the "Toyota Nation" forum.

You are right. I guess I am not required to own a Yaris to be part of these forums. But I dunno what I would talk about. Money is tight right now but I am planning on keeping it. Probably for a lot longer than I want to. But I have said it before. There are certainly worse cars to be stuck with.

Haha, yeah I really need to take a picture of my egg that I am happy with and set that as my icon. I was on the modern Dell website buying laptops for work and they had that icon there next to storage. I laughed, downloaded it and used it here.

I am dddddiiiiiying to lower her, get alloys and tires, but I just don't have the funds. Just gotta wait a while.
