quick q: if I want to use sliders do I need to buy the seat braket, side mounts and sliders?

No, you only need the seat base, slider, and seat.

The only draw back to this would be that I cannot adjust tilt of the seat or height without the side mounts, correct?

That’s correct. That’s why I have all of the mentioned parts.

Hmm don't think I'll form out cash for all 3 base parts. What's your take on them, better to have slider with no side mount adjustment, or no slider but side mount adjustment?

Fwiw I'm the only one who drives my car

Wedge engineering makes brackets with sliders for the Yaris. Price is pretty reasonable

I had just the seat and base for the first year and it was great. Then I started inviting co-drivers and needed the slider. Then my co-drivers suggested the side mounts the lean the seat back some.

So it’s my co-drivers fault....

Hahah, I'll likely go with the base and side mounts

Ill chime in for them non racers but want the feel. You can see if the side mount bolts up to the stock seats rail.

My Racetech has alot of holes so most lined up perfectly to the stock slider. Only thing is i have to take the seat off the slider to adjust (sliding) but unless you have other drivers just set it and forget it.

Don't just bolt the side rail to directly, i felt it was way too low and not enough thigh support (flat).
