Feeler: BLITZ SC kit 1600 shipped
Is anyone interested in Blitz SC, USD 1600 shipped? Very good condition.. price is kinda low becasue it is from scion.
This is xb/xa kit which comes with Tooter's state of the art throttle body adaptor which solves the issue of differences in the TB mounting. Also, the solid multilayer silicone coupler pretty much converts the top two intake pieces into one similar to the one found in the original yaris kit. I was also able to use my TRD CAI without cutting or modifying it at all. you may need to buy some angled couplers for yours (retail in the range of 4-20 dollars shipped on e-bay). My car is without the Ac - you may need to buy the belt in case yours has AC - those retail between 15-35 dollars on average (good ones) Also included is set of NGK6 recommended iridium spark plugs and boost gauge (Glowshift, no fancy stuff but does the job.. as new condition) http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42913 thinking to sell it becasue I do not use it enough - good toy, makes the car way faster but I really do not need it. Feel like I am married to a beautiful Ukrainian lady but can not fully "utilize this relationship" (I am sure you know what I mean). Give me offers. Would consider to accept MI intake as partial payment. I know - it is stupid to waste so much time and money (I am smth like 500 bucks down after I paid for shipping to Canada last time). Anyways I do not regret it - it was a real fun experience - never had a boosted car before. Thanks |

Man, I hate seeing these go up for sale because I can't afford it! I want one so badly, though.
GL with the sale. I'm envious of the buyer already.

Wow, 11 replies and so far no one said that I am an idiot! )) Appreciate that folks ))
I am getting some questions as to the installation process difficulty. As this was my first SC project, I was using the following threads as a guide http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10719 http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14628 http://www.microimageonline.com/foru...-this-weekend? http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17335 Some people claimed difficulties related to the AC lines - fortunately, this was not my case as I do not have AC. Some people reported problems from the air leaks - my kit is used hence I used sealant (gasket maker) - just used the 6 bucks stuff from the nearby Lordco store. My major installation challenge was alignment of pulleys - spent long time using diferent combinations of spacers. Short video that I made before removing the SC. (Kit is removed now, ready for shipment) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKLTa...ature=youtu.be Final pics http://photo.qip.ru/users/tolmach/96608749/130376926/ |

Since I am getting the same question in my mailbox, it finally occured to me that I'd provide some more info and pics
Included is - Blitz SC itself including all mounting hardware, hoses, etc. I have couple belts: 55 and 56 inches plus another one -not sure about the length. Most likely you will have to buy your own one. The kit had at least 15 thousand miles before I bought it (I purchased pretty much the complete kit - only had to buy the TB adaptor, hoses and some missing harware). Overall in a good shape- no play/gap in the SC pulley, blows stable pressure 5-8 psi depending on the rpm / load. Also included is a roll of gasket material. - Kit comes with TB adaptor - no mods requires. You might use some coupler to match it to your air box or CAI. I was able to use my TRD CAI without any mods. - All needed electrical stuff including the fuel controller, 5-position activation module (in cabin switch), and sc clutch activation relay. My kit is used - pretty much all wires were crappy looking and consisted and several pieces. I am including some new wires. Will also include some heat shrinking tubes and texflex stuff to protect the wiring. If you want I can include at no extra charge some minor stuff: - Set of colder spark plugs (NGK iridium 6) - used for one week, - Boost gauge with all the wiring, sensor, and podium (GlowShift Wlite 10 color series) - Blitz number plates |

So tempting... If only shipping from Canada weren't so ridiculously expensive, I would probably be all over this kit.
