this mostly happened due to the spherical joint being removed when an aftermarket header is installed.... My exhaust guy fixed this for me by adding a new one so their will be some flex

Seems like the header's flange didn't meet the midpipe's flange well enough and was "pulled" into meeting up and screwed up. Eventually the repeated heating caused metal fatigue that sheared the header's tube at a weak point.

Absolutely. That failed for two reasons, install error, and inferior fit.

Get a DC.

the only problem with fit is the pipe needs to cut down where they meet if cut prior to install it is fine. that nitto pipe looks to small.

First intakes that get "8hp" gains...now cracked headers...not looking good for them.

Hell even nobody is having issues with the Megan Headers....and everyone thought that was going to be the first to give problems.

you need the springs.. men .. because without the springs , the torque broke the header ..

the springs are a torque absorber .. be carefull
