Speaker size confusion

Hey guys,

I know its been established on here that the speakersieze for the liftback is 6.5 for the front and 5.25 for the rear. But I was on Crutchfield looking at speakers and it seems as if they claim otherwise that the rears are 6.5 and the fronts are 5.25. I am so confused if someone could verify this for me I would be most thankful thanks!

Just order all 4... That way if the 6.5 don't fit in the rear put them in the front. I can't answer your question, I haven't replaced mine yet.

I'm wondering how you did this.

Crutchfield says that while the rears are 5.25" that it's very easy to get even up to a 6.75" in there, but that while the fronts are stock 6.5" they must be some kind of custom speaker because from their measurments none of their 6.5" will fit, they are too tall.

So what is the real deal here?

I just want to put these Polk db650's all around.
