Muffler fell off, pipe size?
My muffler fell off. The flange was destroyed from rot, so I cut that off both ends of the pipe. I'm getting a replacement muffler shortly, but I need to figure out how to connect it to the stub of pipe left pointing up just after the rear axle.
What is the OD of that pipe? I think I will need to cut the flange off the replacement muffler, and buy a short section pipe + muffler clamps to connect between what's left of the pipe after the catalytic converter and the new muffler. Thanks! |

Buy the pipe ahead of the muffler. And two gaskets.

You're talking about the pipe between the cat and the muffler, right?
But that's welded to the cat... At least I think it is? |
