Really starting to notice little things.....

that tick me off. I love my yaris, I love how it drives, it's killer on gas, yada yada yada, but now I have noticed that along the very bottom from front tire, to back tire the paint is bumpy. Each side of the car is like this. It is about 2 inches high running the length of the car. ARRRGGGG!!!!!

I'm going to go out and look at mine. I think this is standard on the lower portion. The texture you are referring to was on my VW also. Get some side skirts.

Yup. Mine's like that too. Thought it was just poor paint quality. Could use a wet sand and maybe one more coat.

I think when I had my VW New Beetle, it was the same way. I'd rather have that than a bunch of scratches from road debris.

That "bumpy" paint on the lower rocker panels is intentionally applied at the factory; it's a textured flexible undercoat that protects the colour coat from road debris damage. Many cars have this now.

Don't try to sand it out and respray... you'll just make a mess of it!

OCD! It's fine! Relax and enjoy! I wish the whole car was like that.

I feel like I should list all the other things that are bound to piss you off in the coming months. It isn't perfect, but it is a Yaris, so its damn close!

I'd have to say that the only gripe I have with the Yaris is that the body is delicate.
