Crazy video.
Here's some quality journalism though - the tag line is - "A police officer in Indianola, Iowa has a near miss with a deer while stopped at a traffic light." What traffic light? He's in the middle of the road - there isn't even a traffic light in the video, and the cop is rolling and has to slam on the brakes to not hit the deer... |

Wow, that was cool!
We have what are called "doggy deer" here in the Texas Hill Country that are a menace. You see them on the side of the road all the time, and it gets worse when we get into a drought as they go all over the place looking for water. You really have to be careful when driving, as they will do exactly the same thing as in this video except being smaller, they don't clear the hood! |
