C-one does carry a sway bar for the Vitz/Yaris. If they fit the US Yaris, I'll be getting them this week or early next week.

What exactly does the Sway Bar do? I have a friend who's a mechanic, and when I told him about how the reviews of the Yaris said there was a lot of body roll, he immediately replied, get sway bars.

A sway bar connects opposite wheels together to function in stiffening the body, thus allowing less roll during heavy cornering.

Personally, I have a different suspension setup than most on this board but I notice quite a bit of oversteer when cornering in my car. Its kind of fun because I still have the front wheels planted and I usually just spin the fronts and enjoy my nice little FWD pseudo-drift, haha. But still... the rear strut tower bars will probably be a good start on a Yaris, at least from my experience.

I know the rear strut tower bar would be a good idea, but I don't like that thing taking up all my trunkspace. If i could get something that would perform about the same function, and not take up my trunk space, that would be great.

BTW: The word trunk is used very loosely.

Accept no substitues... you'll be choosing between better handling and more grocery room.
