Bad day.

My optimus got broken into today. Second day at a new job and somebody comes by and smashes the drivers side window. They proceed to try and take my head unit but is unable to remove it because of how i bolted it in. Ironically, even though it wasn't taken I can't use it because of the damage done to where the faceplace snaps on. FML.

Damn! That sucks man. Do they have any camera's in the parking lot? Maybe you can see who did it.
I've always been paranoid about people breaking into my car, I only have 35% window tint, but I always put up my parking shade to make it extra dark in there to make it so people can't see inside.

I'm guessing you have an aftermarket radio, right?
Do you have any pics of the damage? Hopefully it's not too bad.

Btw, how did you bolt it in where they can't take it? I might want to try that.

Yeah there were cameras but they didn't get a clear shot of the face because of the hate he was wearing. Yeah its aftermarket. I haven't taken any pictures yet. I'll have to go back and check why exactly I did because it was a while ago.

I thought stealing car stereos is a thing of a past seeing how cheap most of them are...

That's what I thought, too. But I bet that most people who steal car stereos do it to sell them for drugs, so they're probably going to be messed up in the head anyway.
