xA steering wheel

Well I was given a xA steering wheel last week,it looks differant frame wise than the yaris one and I hate to tear it apart to see if it will work....no garage and it is pouring rain.

Has anyone given the xa wheel a try at installing yet.It is the nice leather wrapped one with red accents and I really like it,I do still have access to a tC wheel if it does not work and can sell this one pretty easy to a xA owner.

thanks for any answers that will help....Brian

Here are the pictures of the steering wheel. As you can see the lower frame of the wheel is the wrong shape.

If somebody knows for certain it will work and fit properly I will install if not I can trade it to somebody for a tC wheel easy enough.

The Scion leather steering wheel that fits is PN 08460-12820. I have installed this on my ride.

Actually it will fit but the rear and the Airbag won't align properly leaving gaps in the sides and the bottom this wheel will fit a TC and XA but not a perfect seat for the New XB and the yaris

Well I pulled the old one and this one does not fit......sucks.....it goes on but like the above poster said the mount is in the wrong spot for aclean install for the airbag.

It is an easy install though.....got the old on off in 25 minutes and then back on in under an hour.

guess I will keep bartering to get me one that fits perfect......I traded a days labor putting on springs on a car for it so I cannot complain......plus I got beer and pizza for the install....LOL

I got a few people with tC wheels that I can get so I will sell off this one to a xB owner or xA owner.

Yeah I was gonna install the springs for pizza and beer and he tossed in the steering wheel. His car is blue so he did not want it.

It would actually fit if I modded the back of the plastic molding, but in the dark and rain I did not feel like doing it.

I will end up more than likely with the one out of my tC and then put a differant one in my tC.....there is a black and silver wrapped one for the tC that I have had my eye on.

I think it works fine but you also need the airbag from the xa.
