Pop-up sunroof in a 2006 Yaris

Just got back from Lynden Washington where my brother and I installed a pop-up sunroof in my 2006 Yaris 3dr, we moved the center interior light back about 4 inches, but other than that it went in without a hitch. Had it open all the way home, boy that fresh air felt good, and sure helps keep the car cooler when parked in the sun. Doesn't look half bad either

Ya, but it is really, really good candy, and it's all mine.

Congrats on the sun/moon roof. Nice addition.

Dealer quoted me @ 1200 bones US for a moonroof. Custom moonroofs proably like 800 or so, dunno i want to spend it tho.

Just be careful and choose a very good installer. A bad install could make for water in your cabin, air hissing at high speeds, and/or many unfixable rattles.

I'm getting one installed on Tuesday for $329, they didn't say they had to move light, did you move it because you had to, or could you have left it in stock position?
P.S I wanted to use the name Island Boy, but you beat me to it. But then you do live on an island as well. Oh Well

Sorry, have to do it...

I don't even know what you mean by pop out sunroof... are you talking removable like t-tops or it pops out of the roof and slides back or what.

I think it's just one of those ones that the roof just lifts upward a little.

Something like this?

I'm gonna get a moonroof in my nautical blue S (inbuilt, just like factory).. just don't feel like paying 1200 this very moment.. but I think it's worth it. The only way for me to go is Inalfa! And man I have to inquire bout their panoramic roofs.. but I think it looks slightly tacky with the glass in the air?

I was thinking about installing an Inalfa electric slider myself. I could do it for about $400. I don't really want to get involved with the headliner required for the built-in type.
