would a 2005 echo auto trans fit in a 2007 yaris

nothin about improving the performance, I just have one echo 2005 auto trans on hand and would like to know before spliting both cars apart if it would work out? thanks

Unlikely. The Echo uses the C150, the Yaris uses the C50. Key differences could include some or all of the following: mounting points, shaft splines in the differential, cable linkages, wire connectors. The engine block, starter and torque converter/flex plate should line up but that's about all that is likely to mate without serious modification.
