Battery light

While driving home I noticed the headlights were flickering (both low and high beams), The next morning when returning from breakfast the red battery light was on. While contemplating pulling the alternator out to get tested I searched YarisWorld and checked the connections, finding corrosion on the plug. After spraying with WD-40 the light went out and I had 14.4 volts at the battery with the car running. After running errands cleaned the battery terminals, the plug and bolt on the alternator, all seems well. Bill C
