My Yaris T-Sport

Bought my yaris about a year and a half ago looking like this

got it all fixed up

i wont bore you with all the pics i took of it's progress lol and it ended up looking like this

at a show early on this year

then put these on

as it has an extended bonnet, the metal plate that was welded on started to crack back through a week before the scottish modified car show so as a quick fix i got a bonnet painted black and actually just kept it on. pics from SMC

that's me on the left.

Comments welcome :)

Love everything about this car with the exception of one thing, eyelids. What can I say, I don't like eyelids.

A lot of love there. Nice work. Like the look. Great new wheels, too bad they're black.

I like it. I'll be the first to say it tho, I like the first set of wheels better. I like the boser hood too. Ever thought of completing it by integrating the headlights to it?

what's a boser hood? (language barrier coming up again lol)

I have basically not added anything to the car, i just fixed it up. The "eyelids" are actually just painted on lol the bonnet was just a quick fix, because its and extended bonnet there is a plate welded on to cover the grill but with vibration this had started to crack back through and caused rust because the paint was cracked. I had a car show coming up so just got a new bonnet made up and painted black for quickness. i did plan to re-do the old one and paint it again but with winter coming i have just left it with the black one on. also i've just bought a house so any plans on the car have kinda been put to one side.

the wheels on it originally were too big and caused rubbing so i changed them to 16" advans.

i'll try and get a spec list, i always forget whats done to it lol

A boser hood is like what you have. It's a hood extension that covers some of the grill and the headlights, like this:

That's cool, can't even tell that the eyelids are painted on. hahaha.

The Advans are cool, I guess I just preferred the other ones. hahahaha.

Ah that's called a bad boy bonnet over here lol not got many plans over winter, cos its got the black bonnet on it and I don't want paint damage with the cold etc. I did plan to get the bonnet and roof vinyl wrapped in carbon fibre for a mag feature (plus a wee bit of modelling from me haha) but the photographer was really busy and I never got round to doin it.

Like I said, just bought a house and recently just left my job to go back to uni after a few years out so moneys a bit tight haha I'm sure ill find a way of doing some little things though :)
