Increasing automatic gearbox redline

Would this be possible? In the manual form the engine can go up to ~6500, and I can only hit close to 6000 in my auto.

I would be getting a unichip piggyback sometime in december, and just wondering whether raising the limit is possible or not.

you wont gain anything by raising it past the factory redline because the car doesnt make any power above red line and risk blowing up but it is possible if you get a complete standalone ecu and do some major work to the motor in order to produce power that high up to make it usuable
