^ So simply put, i just need to purchase this HID kit you have, and it should be plug and play?

Sorry, i'm not good with electric circuitry. I'm a civl engineer by trait, go figure.

Correct. I picked it up from www.urbanperformance.ca which is a distributor for the www.gthid.ca kit.

Yea, if you go to www.gthid.ca/kit_info.html on the right you'll see that there's an Autolamp & DRL relay harness under OPTIONAL. Let them know I sent you, it's the least I can do for him going to my house to do the install! :)

For the roofrack folks, be careful about buying a Canuckian one for the US hatch. It relies on having 2 doors per side for the towers to attach. Unless you want to cut slots in your roof edge, leave them in Canada.

For the rest of it? Drool...... (except for the fake carbon bits. Blech!)

haha wait till all the mods are added up lol. But ya... here's the breakdown on the prices and what I paid.

From the window sticker:
BASE MODEL - $13800.00
YARIS RS HATCHBACK 5DR - $3970.00
B PACKAGE - $1200.00
MSRP - $18970.00
Freight and Delivery - $1090.00
Block Heater (mandatory in Canada) - $150
Total - $20210.00

Dealer Options:
Roof Rack - $222.70
Roof Rack Bike Adapter - $249.50
Dash Kit CF - $375.40
Bodyside Mouldings - $140.40
Side Window Visor - $172.70
Sport Pedals - $91.70
Wheel Locks - $82.70

Total - $21545.10
GST 6% - $1292.71

Grand Total - $22837.81

I paid $21600 total. They took $1237.81 off. Basically tax free.

Oops, you're right, the Roof rack is only available for 5D hatchbacks. Sorry guys.

roof rack comes in handy during a ski trip/snowboard....maybe camping as well..

Would the CA roof rack fit the US liftback? We dont have those two extra doors you Canadians have! Is the roof line different on the 5 door version?

Can someone post a thread on the CA roof rack with close up pics??????
