I switched seats and now seatbelt light won't go off
I found the thread on this forum about switching the Yaris seats with Scion XD seats & had my ex do that. He disconnected the battery before removing the Yaris seats and put the Yaris seat belt latch on the Scion seat. Since then, the passenger seat belt light flashes, the airbag light says off, and the driver's seat belt light stays lit on the dash. Thankfully it isn't making the dinging sound.
Is there any way to test the sensors and see if they're bad? My ex has already replaced a couple of them. He checked with the scanner and there are no codes. Any advice is very much appreciated. |

The Scion was also a 2008. It had been wrecked but I don't know where or how. I had to order the seats from another state.

OK. I would have him double check the connections as the 08 Scion and 08 Yaris have fully compatible seats and seatbelt switches.
