How will this car do against other subcompacts (Fit, Versa) - Page 2 - Toyota Yaris Forums

Looks --
For myself, I love the looks of the Yaris, that's why I got one myself. The fit looks pretty good, but the interior is not nearly as attractive to me then my yaris. I used to like nissian's design, but versa is just.......... uuuck. not live up to my expectation.
Storage --
One of the reason why I brought sub-compact is less size, more space(inside). and fit seems to be better at it then Yaris or Versa.
Drive, comfort, etc ... --
Not sure about Fit or Versa yet, since it's not out in Canada, but soon as it came out, i will go to different dealers and try it out for myself.

I think the Yaris will do fairly well against other sub-compact, not only it has experience(with the echo hatch, as honda and nissian doesn't have anythin' similar before that). Also, Yaris is out now and there is still wait for Versa and Fit. Of courze, if you don't mind, you could go for Korean or American.....

The front seat not being able to fold flat doesn't really bother me. Its not as if I'm going to need it all the time. But then again my other car is a Camry S/W, so if I need to carry anything long I'd use it instead of the Yaris.

agree, at least march seems to have a nissan touch, where versa seems like a bastard.... lack of a better word.
