So.... how do you check the fuel pressure?
I think I might have low fuel pressure because my plugs has melted electrodes. I looked all over the engine compartment for a schrader valve, but I can't see one.
How the hell do you check FP on these things? |

You have to pull the hose off and use some assortment of hose and fittings to create a T off to a pressure gauge.
Did you check the short term and long term fuel trims in a scan tool? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Thanks for the reply. I did look at STFT and LTFT, and they were good.
I'm going to have to get creative with my FP gauge I guess. Not too sure why Toyota couldn't make it easy. |

The Yaris is built on a budget and how often do the fuel pumps or injectors go bad? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

Melted electrodes? You think you'd have some codes.

I did, it had a cylinder 2 misfire. I had absolutely no signs whatsoever of it running differently until that point either. BUT, all four plugs looked the same - which is what I think it is running lean. Maybe the Denso plugs were not that good though... I put NGK's back in it. I actually found a gauge that is supposed to allow you to disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail, and then the gauge has connections to go between. Have to wait for it to get here though. |

Here are the plugs I pulled out... I put them in as 125,000 miles, and now it has just under 160,000.
