I'm glad you got rid of them, I hate those wheels man, I hate when the spoke pops outside of the lip lol. The poke was kinda nice though, would have gone well with some pulled fenders and some neg camber

I'm pretty new to this but I have some questions. I have a 2010 yaris sedan and I would like to put some xxr rims on it, 17x8 in front and 17x9 in the back. What wheel spec is good? I would also like to slam it as much as possible without having to roll the fenders, what suspension is recommended?

go with 15" wheels and tires is you want to drop it. 17" wheels cause rubbing on lowered Yari.

If you don't want to roll fenders, don't go with 8" and 9" widths. Also, for those widths, you're going to want to get a little stretch in your tires to get some forgiveness on your fenders. Definitely don't go with 17's - the tire size choices just aren't there to do that.

16's are about the same way to be honest, although a 195/45/16 or 195/50/16 would stretch nice. With 15's you'd have plenty of choices, wheel-wise and tire-wise.

Now if you're willing to roll your fenders, and add a little camber, disregard anything I said above. You can run about anything as long as you're willing to accomodate the size.

MSR "013" in gunmetal finish 17x7.5+38 on 205/40/17

Passenger rear rubbed a good amount on the way home(about 5 miles) otherwise seems good. I'll be adjusting the coils this evening.

I always loved the SPARCO Assetto Gara, there was a picture some time ago in black and they look amazing but why 195/40/17 instead of 205/40/17

I lowered it with springs right now and I wasn't sure on how far it would settle, I have dropped other vehicles and gotten a much larger drop than advertised.

I also plan on putting on coilovers soon and taking her lower. Rubbing is a concern of mine. My wife loves the turning radius and doesn't want to compromise that aspect. Its her car, but its my toy.
