TWM=??

I searched but couldnt find an exact answer. The TWM is just a shorter stick...correct? If so, then cutting the stock "stick" would achieve the same result?

Thats kind of more about competitors products and the quality of them. I would still probably buy the TWM before shortening my stock piece i was just wondering.

I believe the short end of the stick is also lengthened a little bit compared to stock, and the shaft angled a tiny bit more. Not a huge difference but if you ever need to go back to your stock shifter...

Our TWM short shifters are not only chopped off versions of the stock shifter, they are real short shifters with relocated pivot points to change the angle the shifter travels between gears.

Here is a picture to show the difference between a stock shifter and a TWM short shifter bottom section, this is a Corolla shifter but the Yaris shifter is enginereed the same way:

It's the relocated pivot point that will achieve a great part of the throw reduction. Chopping off a part of the top section of your stock shifter will not achieve the same result as a real short shifter such as ours.

Thanks,

Frank

Thank you thats all I was trying to figure out lol. I figured it had to be something more than a "chopped", or just shorter stick. I was just curious.

Those bushings ROCK! you won't be disapointed
Hey since you got more buddies around see if someone can lend you a Stage 2 NST SSK to see if it works on the TMW it might work, It could be extreme but who knows?
