How to remove wheel well cover properly........

trying to install my strut bar, just curious what are the steps to remove the wheel well cover thingy.

i was thinking about just prying it off with a screwdriver, but that would damage the paint

The correct procedure is certainly covered in one ot he repair manuals, I'll see if I can find it...
