Makes thumping noise when in gear and coasting

I'm diagnosing as cv joint. What are your thoughts?

No...classic cv joint damage is clicking while in turns.

Get the car up on ramps and check the boots. Torn boots = damaged cv joint.

If theyre about to go and leave the axle thrashing around....maybe.

Fixed. The lug nuts were just loose enough to have the rims move while driving but not on a jack inspecting for wheel bearing/tie rod
