My next set of wheels!

I've had several sets of Konig Heliums for my car, and now I'm ready to move on to a different style. I found a some wheels that I like and that I plan to keep on my car until they fall off. They are the Konig Networks, and I think they are one of the coolest wheels made by them. Anyone have them on their car already? I'd like to see them on a liftback.

those look great and the price as well! however, how much work is necessary to get them to fit with that offset? basically, what all did you have to do with yours(ie. camber, spacers, shims, etc.) and where would a person get that done(can a normal tire shop with an allignment rack do everything)?

mine fit with the camber in the front maxed out to the negative, no rubbing in the rear. so they are bolt on as long as you max out your camber.

you are also running +25 offset, hence the need for camber.

If you run +40 or +38 you should be fine w/o camber, maybe even +35.

I did the whole camber bolt thing with a 40+offset tire and 205-55-15's, and it rubbed like a homeless man's ass on a bus pole. You rub when you hit bumps. You rub when you turn. You even rub when the car is not moving. Talk about rub a' dub! Rocking those big offsets will only work with skinny ass tires and getting your fenders pulled and rolled. You also have to get camber bolts, worry about dips and hearing your wheels rub when you turn. No mo' of that stuff fo' me! Sticks to what works and not what jerks!

Remember most of the guys running bigger offsets also have a lot stiffer suspension than you have. Form your garage I see you are running tk blues & tein springs, not exactly what I would call good for anything but a +40 with a 195 on it.

Wow! Those are some harsh words coming from a guy who is as stock as Dr. Spock.My springs give the best drop and my shocks are what most people put on their ride to "stiffen up" their suspension to avoid rubbing. You can have coilovers or Ultra-Stiff shocks and springs, but those tires and stick out like Grave Digger will rub and dub. Ask Cali, Poop, or anyone who has 42+ offset wheel, and they will all say: "Anything less would be uncivilized". What do you suggest: factory springs and struts?

They are the Volk SE37 replicas, but without the SE37 price.

the misinformation is strong in this thread.

i will say again, i ran those wheels with the same set up everyone else here uses: Tanabe DF210's, shocks, and rear bar. i use the HTS, but that doesnt effect spring rate and rub, they are dampers! the rear fit perfect with no rub, no additional camber. the front fit with the maximum camber with the small bolts from toyota, and that is still only -1.5*, which is STILL very little camber. that much camber has in no way effected the tire wear on my car. i also ran a 195/55/15. things may be a little different with a 205/50/15, and certainly with a 205/55/15.

they work, with the set up everyone here uses. yes you need some front camber, no you cant run huge ass tires. i feel pretty sure that the average 205/50/15 would fit just fine, but if not, then buy the best tire money can buy right now, the 195/55/15 star specs!

Yes! Yes! Yes! I was able to run 205/50/15's on a +40 offset and I had no prob(except for being super low to the ground). I also did well with the 195/55's(which I'm rocking once again). When I moved up to the 205/55's, I rubbed in the front. Even with the camber at -2, I still had rubbing. That size of a tire is just to wide for anything less than +42, especially on a liftback that is dropped more that 1.7 inches.

Finally got around to taking photos of my new wheels. They cost me a pretty penny, but not as much as a set of Volk SE37 wheels. They're a little heavier than the Heliums, but there is more metal as well as width on the wheel. I used black and neon chrome lug nuts, but got bored with them really quick. I bought some "pink" lugs off someone on the forum, and thought they wouldn't last long either. But, to my surprise, they look pretty damn good.
