TSNW June 2014: Cruise to the Coast



June, 21st - 2014, 10:00 AM
South Cruise to the Coast

Overview
Cruising from Portland, Oregon to Longview, Washington via some scenic routes along the coast, with a stop in in Tillamook running up through some fun, scenic routes.

Details / Itinerary
- Starting in Portland, OR at 9:00 AM for breakfast.
- Leaving at 10:00 AM over the hills and past the Portland Metro area.
- Stop at North Plains for gas and convenience items. (There is a Chveron and a McDonalds there.)
- Cruise out to Tillamook and stop for 20 minutes for ice cream and cheese. (No tours, please, we will be leaving!)
- Cruise North and stop for photos at Miami Cove.
- Cruise North to Longview for dinner via fun and twisty roads.

This is a true driver's cruise. There will be plenty of stops along the way, but mostly- this is about the twisties. Stopping at TCF, as usual, for ice cream and cheese curds. My bi-annual pilgrimage will be combined with this cruise. :D Hope to see some Yarii out there this time around!!!
