Question Anybody running components in the rear?

The leading edge of the C pillar looks like it would be an optimal place to put a set of tweeters up at ear level...anybody with SERIOUS audio experience done this or have any thoughts?

I put components in the back. I have a set of polk audio. My tweeters sit very close to the woofers that are in the factory holes. It actually sounds pretty good. I havent been able to get the other set for the front yet. My kids love sitting in the back. You hear the highs better in the back, but not by much because of how close they still are to you.

I don't have back seats. How do the sound to you, as the driver, in the front? Any noticeable improvement in highs/sound stage? Thanks

I don't have my components in the front yet, and you can't hear the factory front speakers over the rears. You can tell the components are in back. Once I get the front ones in, it should sound better. I deadened the back half of the car minus the roof. Once I deaden the front floor and doors and put the components in front, I'm expecting greater things. As far as just the back, it's centered pretty well. They almost sound like they're beside you. The highs are'nt as good as when you're in back, but I mainly put them in for people that are sitting back there.
