Yaris 2009 speedometer sensor - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi ,
I have toyota yaris 2009,i want to know where is speed sensor located(speedometer sensor)
I have tried alot to search it but i could not find any single cable or socket comming out from the gearbox.
Please help me for the location of speed sensor

i believe the speed signal is generated by the ABS wheel speed sensors.

Isn't there a speed sensor mounted on top of the transmission? I don't have ABS so I know I'm not getting signal from the wheels.

Have you checked that you still don't have wheel speed sensors in the front?

Then the speed sensor would be mounted above the differential near the firewall.

I have ABS on my 09 MT, but still have the speedo sensor on the differential. Weird.

What transmission do you have?
