Black Mesh Grill
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVE...spagenameZWDVW
for those looking for a universal mesh grill. note: this is not the user i bought mine from, nor is it the same material. this one is aluminum, so i'm not sure how to cut this "cleanly". |

Its too porous. The 'mesh' needs to be smaller in gauge and a tighter pattern. It also needs to be chrome.

you and your chrome....... I am going to call you a Ghetto Fabulous Ricer since you love chrome so much, were you debating on a Excalade or a Yaris when you bought your car?

sorry about that...my computer blew up like 2 days after my last post...lost the diy...
i ended up buying the one at pepboys for the upper grille, and used a cheap-o gutter guard from home depot for the lower one. why?...cause the cheapo ones arent big enought for the upper grille... i took the original off, used a dremel to cut the front bumper to where its flush, painted the mesh, and used a liquid nail type glue to stick it from the inside... the bottom one looks a little crapy if you look at it up close...it has some gaps where the plastic grille used to be, but i will fix it with some fiberglass from th inside and a little bondo and paint. here are some pics of how it looks... lower grille... |
